Our editorial standards
Each published guide names the people responsible for it. Author biographies describe relevant experience. We credit contributors and name a reviewer only when that person has reviewed the article.
We may use AI tools to help research, organize or draft a guide. A responsible human author checks the claims, sources and final text before publication. AI assistance does not replace that responsibility.
We link supporting sources where they help readers check a claim, explain limitations and distinguish evidence from our judgment. Examples and illustrations are labelled honestly.
Publication dates reflect when a guide first appeared. Updated dates reflect substantive changes, not routine site builds. If something is wrong or out of date, contact us so we can review it and correct the guide.
